Hrabětice, Janov nad Nisou

The Chata u Skota building has a long history. It was built in 1910 and functioned as a glass grinding plant until 1972. The building was then used as private accomodation before being converted to a guesthouse in 1992.

There is a small stream that flows under the Chata that powered the machinary in the glass grinding plant. The turbine and and drive are on display in the dining room to this day.

It was known as ‘Pension pod Vlekem’ for many years due to its proximity to the Severak ski resort.
